For a long time it has been our desire to open and run a café together, having both worked in the catering industry for a number of years. We wanted to open somewhere you can enjoy great tasting food during the day in a casual setting and whether you wish to sit in and eat, or are on the move and want something to take away, we can cater for you.
Inspiration for the Menu
Basically, our menu consists of things that we enjoy eating. We change our menu quarterly inline with the seasons but keep the core ingredients. So for summer we had salt beef served with a German style potato salad, with cucumber and lettuce, and for winter the beef is beef brisket slowly braised with a rich stout gravy, served with horseradish potatoes and a winter slaw.
